Though people are quite skeptical about the Netflix adaptation of anime, Deadman Wonderland is listing in the trending list. Since it has been more than 10 years of season 1, fans are pretty much annoyed by no announcements regarding Deadman Wonderland Season 2. Is it even going to get a sequel? OR are we just going to get fooled by the rumors again? To be honest, I too want a second season of this action thriller and post-apocalyptic show. Deadman Wonderland Season 2 Release Date
This is amongst one of the frequently asked questions from you guys these days. As of now, Funimation doesn’t hold the authority of the release date of any sequel of this show. It might hurt everyone, but yeah this series recently started getting some fame on OTT platforms.
Even so, reports are circulating that Deadman Wonderland Season 2 could be in the works by 2019. We might get an announcement regarding the same anytime soon. As a fan, we still have high hopes from the Japanese production houses right now. Also, keeping in mind the recent amount of jump in the viewer base of this show, fans can still expect a lot.
Deadman Wonderland Season 1 Storyline
A huge phenomenon triggered a massive earthquake that wreaked havoc on Japan’s peninsula and devastated much of Tokyo, submerging three-quarters of the region in the Pacific Ocean. The plot moves a decade later to Ganta Igarashi, a fairly mundane middle school student in Nagano Province. Ganta, as a catastrophe escapee and witness, has no recollection of the disaster and has led a normal life. When a mysterious individual dressed in crimson armor floats by his classroom walls, everything changes. The “Red Man” murders Ganta’s rest of the class while grinning maniacally. Rather than killing Ganta, the “Red Man” places a red crystal gemstone in his chest.

Some sites speculated on the Deadman Wonderland Season 2 release date. Season 2 was expected to air in April 2017 according to them, but no official announcement has been made by Funimation or Netflix regarding its adaptation. Manglobe Inc. is the studio behind the anime series yet. However, if Deadman Wonderland Season 2 is made, it would be fascinating to see how the story develops and if Ganta can locate the mysterious Red Man and prove his innocence. We hope that if this occurs, the story will be more gripping and exciting.

Tsunenaga Tamaki created and runs Deadman Wonderland, which was founded by Rinichir Hagire.
